Photo Manipulation- on another level!

I really like to look at various photo manipulations made by others. Because it involves both the artist taking his/her own photographs and then manipulating them into his/her own creative ideas, thoughts and imaginations. I came across the young and talented Erik Johansson while I was going through photo manipulations on the internet. I find his images and manipulations funny, but also very creative, and I fell in love with his work. His photos cover many areas and fields, so it's not just surrounded through one particular subject. Not only is he creative, but his photography skills are impressive too. Surprisingly he comes from the same country as me. His website www.alltelleringet.com, ( everythingornothing- in swedish) is very interesting and worthy to look at.

Smoke Photography!

Stoffel De Roover is a very talented and creative artist. His popular work involves smoke photography. All the smoke photos have been photographed of instinct sticks. I've known about smoke photography before, but I haven't seen it come to such a great extent. I've uploaded some of my favourite images here, and I think I'm going to give it a go myself, although I am pretty sure my results won't end up anywhere close to his. His work has been included in smashing magazine, and an exhibition of aleatoric art has some of his smoke photographs included in Miami, US. From hes blog I could see that you could also order prints on t-shirts if you would like. http://www.lumendipity.com/gallery/Smoke%20Photography/, that is the link to his blog and work.

Bodypainting in an artistic prospect

Emma Jane Cammack is both a Bodypainter and artist. I think her work is very different from other artists out there, as she bodypaints as well as trying to find other interesting ideas to combine her talents. Personally, I think the first image is very striking, and also freaky in a way, but both in a positive aspect. I find her work carefully detailed and thought of, which I like. Her work has featured on advertising, magazines, billboards etc. Here's the link to her homepage http://emmacamma.sc102.info/framedindex.html

The very young and talented.

I came across this young artist first from watching the Oprah Winfrey show. Akiane, a talented artist and poet, is a gifted child. She's currently only twelve yeards old, and says she's been painting since the age of four. Her paintings are outstanding and so beautiful, that I would be impressed if a teenager painted them, let alone a child! In her own words, she describes them as being visions from God, and that's where her inspiration comes from. She has true potential, and expresses her talent in a very positive way. The video shows her speaking about herself, God's inspiration and the paintings. She has her own personal website where you can find all her paintings, since she started from a very young age. It's very inspiring and worthy to look at. http://www.artakiane.com/
