Toilet Interior...

I came across this toilet interior on the internet, while searching for creative material. It's the most colourful toilet I have ever seen, and I've never actually come across such a toilet in real life. To me it's definitely different, and stands out very much but starts to look like some kind of illusion somehow, which could be a bit of disturbance in such a place, like a restroom. Although it looks kind of fun.......the first word that came out of my mouth was 'woah' when I saw it. Kind of cool, but maybe not such a clever idea for a toilet decoration!

The very young and talented.

I came across this young artist first from watching the Oprah Winfrey show. Akiane, a talented artist and poet, is a gifted child. She's currently only twelve yeards old, and says she's been painting since the age of four. Her paintings are outstanding and so beautiful, that I would be impressed if a teenager painted them, let alone a child! In her own words, she describes them as being visions from God, and that's where her inspiration comes from. She has true potential, and expresses her talent in a very positive way. The video shows her speaking about herself, God's inspiration and the paintings. She has her own personal website where you can find all her paintings, since she started from a very young age. It's very inspiring and worthy to look at. http://www.artakiane.com/

Tattoo gone too far?

I understand that tattoos are a form of art, where people tend to express themselves with designs across the body. I personally like tattoo's when they represent something meaningful to the person, it could be seen as an identity to oneself, and a sense of belonging for what they believe in, or from past experience, etc. But this man, on the images above more known as 'spider' has decided to get his tongue tattooed. Now this leads me to the question, has tattoos these days gone too far? How could you simply want to have your tongue covered in black? I'm surprised some people would actually like it because to me its shocking and unhuman....its just disgusting! I think there should be a limit to which body parts you could actually get tattoed on, also think about all the medical reasons and the health consequences such a man could suffer. According to this link www.globalfashionreport.com/?l=en&a=344991 "tongue tattoos are a new trend that is rapidly spreading across the world of body modification" and that worries me...what's next?

Talk about beautiful yard work!

These photos were forwarded to me in my e-mail, they were quite many photos showing different artwork produced in gardens in different countries, and I thought to post some of them here. It got me thinking how I have never actually thought about how such beautiful designs, with so much attention to detail could be produced simply through yard work, after all its produced from cutting grass/ flowers into different shapes. The outcome produced is showstopping, and it gives a whole new vibe to it, as the designs are so interesting to look at, and you wouldn't expect to see such designs in nature created to such extent. You can tell that they required effort to produce, and I think the idea behind it is really smart and unique, which makes them so pleasurable. It shows how you can be creative in many different perspectives, and you dont have to limit your creativeness anywhere......design in nature, very smart! Here's a link to where you can find more interesting yardwork.
